Professional Teeth Whitening

Visible results in a single visit, from €150 — carried out in the clinic under dental supervision.

About this treatment

Professional whitening lifts stains that build up over years from coffee, tea, red wine and tobacco. Because it is done in the clinic under supervision, we can use a stronger, better-controlled system than anything sold over the counter, and protect your gums while we do it.

The whole appointment takes sixty to ninety minutes and most patients see a noticeable difference the same day. It is the quickest and least invasive of all our cosmetic treatments, and a popular add-on for patients already visiting for a check-up and clean.

Duration: 60-90 minutes

Is this treatment right for you?

Whitening works best on natural teeth with general yellowing or surface staining. It does not change the colour of crowns, veneers or fillings, so if you have restorations at the front we will plan the shade around them. Any decay or gum inflammation is treated first, and we may recommend a desensitising approach if your teeth are already sensitive. Whitening is not advised during pregnancy.

How the treatment works

We start by checking your teeth and gums and recording the current shade so the change is measurable. Your gums and lips are then protected, the whitening gel is applied to the teeth and activated, usually across a few short cycles within the same appointment. Afterwards we compare the shade against the starting point and give you advice on keeping the result.

Aftercare and durability

For the first forty-eight hours avoid strongly coloured food and drink — coffee, tea, red wine, curries — and tobacco, because teeth take up colour more readily right after treatment. After that, normal habits are fine. Results typically last one to three years depending on diet and smoking, and a top-up appointment can refresh them.

Cost compared with Western Europe

Our in-clinic whitening starts at €150, where comparable supervised treatment in the Netherlands or Germany usually costs considerably more. Since it is completed in a single appointment, it is easy to combine with a check-up and cleaning during a short stay in Antalya.

Frequently asked questions

Will whitening make my teeth sensitive?

Some patients notice short-lived sensitivity to cold for a day or two. It settles on its own, and we can use a desensitising gel and adjust the protocol if you already have sensitive teeth.

How white will my teeth get?

That depends on your starting shade and the type of staining. We record the shade before and after so the change is objective, and we will tell you beforehand what is realistically achievable rather than promising a fixed result.
