Prosthetics & Dentures

Full and partial dentures, bridges and implant-supported solutions from €500 — custom-made for comfort and a natural look.

About this treatment

Prosthetic dentistry replaces missing teeth so you can eat and speak properly again. Depending on how many teeth are missing this may mean a bridge, a partial denture that clips around your remaining teeth, or a full denture for an entire jaw.

Where budget allows, implant-supported dentures are worth considering: two or more implants hold the prosthesis firmly in place, which removes the movement and adhesive that people dislike most about conventional dentures. We will set out both options honestly, with the cost difference, so you can decide.

Is this treatment right for you?

Prosthetics suit anyone missing several teeth or a whole arch. A bridge needs healthy teeth either side of the gap to anchor to; where those are absent, a denture or implants are the alternative. Gum health and remaining bone shape the options available, and both are assessed at your first appointment. If you already wear a denture that no longer fits, a remake or a reline often solves it.

How the treatment works

We begin with impressions or digital scans and careful records of your bite. The laboratory then builds your prosthesis in stages, with try-in appointments where you check the fit, the bite and how the teeth look before anything is finished. Adjustments at this stage are normal and expected. Most cases need several visits over one or two trips, which we plan around your travel from the outset.

Aftercare and durability

New dentures always take some getting used to — speech and eating feel different for the first week or two, which is normal. Clean them daily with a denture brush and cleaner, and leave them out overnight so the gums can rest. Gums and bone change shape slowly over the years, so a reline every few years keeps the fit comfortable and secure.

Cost compared with Western Europe

Our prosthetic work starts at €500, against considerably higher costs for equivalent laboratory work in the Netherlands and Germany. Because these cases involve several appointments, we plan the sequence around your trips and give you the full itemised cost — including any extractions or implants needed first — before you commit.

Frequently asked questions

How long do dentures take to make?

Typically several appointments over one to two weeks, because the laboratory work and try-in stages cannot be rushed without compromising the fit. Where a single trip is not possible, we plan the stages across two visits and tell you the timeline in advance.

Are implant-supported dentures worth the extra cost?

For many patients, yes. They stop the movement and rubbing that make conventional dentures uncomfortable, and they preserve jawbone that otherwise shrinks over time. It costs more upfront, so we set out both options with prices and let you decide without pressure.
